The iron derrickman mainly consists of rotary device, tilt arm, telescopic arm clamp, operating console, etc. It is installed at monkey board and it realizes mechanized drilling operation among fingerboard, wellhead and mouse hole. No derrickman at monkey board.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

v  The iron derrickman is fully hydraulic driven. Rotary operations are driven by hydraulic motor. Inclining, telescoping, clamping and other activities are automatically controlled by hydraulic cylinder.

v  The iron derrickman is remotely operated by multifunctional handle stick at the assistant driller console. Controlled by PLC program, real-time detected by encoder, sensors and other equipment, safety interlock, overload protection, and précising standpipe arrangement, ensuring safety and reliability.

v  The iron derrickman use the maintenance-free bearing design, reducing routine maintenance work and carry out special operations at the monkey board by an operation console.
